Theres a Kind of Hush - Ketron Gold Single Styles

“There's a Kind of Hush” was written by Les Reed and Geoff Stephens and first recorded for the 1966 album “Winchester Cathedral” by Stephens' group the New Vaudeville Band. The first single version was recorded in 1966 by a band called Gary and the Hornets. Herman's Hermits then covered the number in February 1967 reaching No.7 in the UK.

Our style is based on ‘The Carpenters’ version which was recorded for their 1976 album release “A Kind of Hush” for which it served as the lead single. It was their thirteenth USA No. 1 on the easy listening chart.

Other Carpenters styles

This is a one-off single rhythm complete with intro's/endings/fills & variations written in the style of the song for newer Ketron instruments. (Please note this is not a song file - often referred to as a midi file - that refers to and plays only one song. Subject to the chords you play on your instrument this style can be used for many numbers of which There's a Kind of Hush is just one).
