September - Ketron Gold Single Styles
This classic funk song by American funk band Earth, Wind & Fire was written by Maurice White, Al McKay, and Allee Willis. It was recorded during the ‘I Am’ sessions and released as a single in 1978. It featured on the band's album The Best of Earth, Wind & Fire, Vol. 1, It reached number one on the US R&B chart, number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 and number three in the UK singles chart.
The band also performed the number with the name change of December, everything else was the same and in this format, it appeared on the band's album “Holiday”. It was the final album to feature co-founder Maurice White prior to his death in February 2016.
This is a one-off single rhythm complete with intro's/endings/fills & variations written in the style of the song for newer Ketron instruments. (Please note this is not a song file - often referred to as a midi file - that refers to and plays only one song. Subject to the chords you play on your instrument this style can be used for many numbers of which September is just one).
