This song is an international hit written by Neil Sedaka in 1958. Co-written with Howard Greenfield, the song is noted for Sedaka's spoken recitation of the verse, the second time around. The song spent 18 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching No. 9 on December 6, 1959. "Carol" was a reference to Carol Klein, Sedaka's ex-girlfriend. She had since married Gerry Goffin, who took the tune and wrote the playful response "Oh! Neil", which she recorded and released as an unsuccessful single the same year (1958) under the stage name Carole King.
Suffice to say though that the song has become an all-time hit though!
This is a one-off single rhythm complete with intro's/endings/fills & variations written in the style of the song for Korg instruments. (Please note this is not a song file - often referred to as a midi file - that refers to and plays only one song. Subject to the chords you play on your instrument this style can be used for many numbers of which Oh Carol is just one).
