This song was written by Clifton Davis and was originally written and intended for the Supremes to record. Motown, however, decided the song would be better suited to the Jackson 5. Released as a single in 1971, it was one of the group's most successful songs.
The song has been covered numerous times, most notably in 1974 by disco diva Gloria Gaynor and in 1987 by British pop group The Communards. The style is very much aimed at the original disco version that made it such a dance classic. Never Can Say Goodbye was also the title of Gaynor's debut album on which the single appeared.
This is a one-off single rhythm complete with intro's/endings/fills & variations written in the style of the song for newer Ketron instruments. (Please note this is not a song file - often referred to as a midi file - that refers to and plays only one song. Subject to the chords you play on your instrument this style can be used for many numbers of Never Can Say Goodbye is just one).
