This Oleg Sharov CD was recorded live in Eastbourne at a Carillon Festivals accordion weekend. It features many highlights from Sharov's 3 concert appearances made across the weekend. Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, in 1946, Oleg Sharov studied the Bayan Accordion from the age of 8, later securing a place at the coveted “Rimsky Korsakov” Conservatory of Music in his home town. After completing 5 years of study, Sharov was appointed as a tutor at the Conservatory and currently holds the position of Senior Professor of Music and head of the accordion department.
