Many in the Technics world will be aware of John Romero. A professional musician since 1979, he was one of the founder writers for the TechPlus magazine and many of his articles can be found on this site. Written exclusively by John, the "Mega Style" range of software led to Carillon Studios being set up and is something we have always been proud of. The files contained on the disks are written in such a way as to make a given song sound as close as possible to the original without having to resort to a midi file. Each file contains a new intro, outro, fills and at least four variations (excluding KN1000, as four variations won't always fit into the memory), some files contain as many as twelve variations. The panel memories are set to step through the variations in the correct order for a suggested song and usually include one or two example sound setups for the instrument.
