Produced and recorded by Phil Collins, this song was released as the first single from his No. 1 album, ‘But Seriously’ in 1989. It lays claim to being the last number-one single of the 1980s and the first number-one of the 1990s. It was a worldwide success, eventually becoming one of the most successful songs of his solo career.
The song won the Grammy for Record of the Year in 1991 and was nominated for Song of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Performance, Male and Best Music Video. "Another Day in Paradise" also won Best British Single at the 1990 BRIT Awards. Despite all the awards gained it also generated controversy over its subject matter of homelessness and received a largely negative reaction from music critics.
This is a one-off single rhythm complete with intro's/endings/fills & variations written in the style of the song for newer Ketron instruments. (Please note this is not a song file - often referred to as a midi file - that refers to and plays only one song. Subject to the chords you play on your instrument this style can be used for many numbers of Another Day In Paradise is just one).
