Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Ketron Gold Single Styles

The album was the 7th studio album by Elton John. It was released in 1973 and sold over 30 million copies worldwide. Many regard it as his best album ever. It was recorded at the Château d'Hérouville in France after problems recording at the intended location in Jamaica. Among its 17 tracks are hits ‘Candle in the Wind’, ‘Bennie and the Jets’, ‘Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting’ and of course the title song ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’.

The move to the château provided John and his band with a great deal of creative inspiration and an abundance of quality material. This led to the decision to release it as a double album. In 2003, the album was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. It ranked at No. 91 on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 greatest and the album was also included in the book ‘1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die’.

Other Elton John styles

This is a one-off single rhythm complete with intro's/endings/fills & variations written in the style of the song for newer Ketron instruments. (Please note this is not a song file - often referred to as a midi file - that refers to and plays only one song. Subject to the chords you play on your instrument this style can be used for many numbers of which Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is just one).
