Don't Answer Me - Korg Gold Styles
This 1984 song by the Alan Parsons Project comes from the album ‘Ammonia Avenue’. It reached number No.15 in the US and No. 58 in the UK. The music video, which was the first music video from the Alan Parsons Project, was rendered in comic book style, with art and animation by Michael Kaluta.
Instead of the art rock and progressive rock sounds for which Alan Parsons was well known, Parsons crafted "Don't Answer Me" in the style of Phil Spector and his Wall of Sound technique. Eric Woolfson, the co-writer, handled lead vocals on the single, with Mel Collins providing a saxophone solo with what is quoted by some as a "soothing yet destitute wail".
Now we are not saying Abba used this for the "Winner takes it all" but speed it up a little and make up your own mind, Lol. :-0
This is a one off single rhythm complete with intro's/endings/fills & variations written in the style of the song for Korg instruments. (Please note this is not a song file - often refered to as a midi file - that refers to and plays only one song. Subject to the chords you play on your instrument this style can be used for many numbers of which Don't Answer Me is just one).
