This popular song was written by Vincent Rose, with lyrics by Larry Stock and Al Lewis. It was first published in 1940 and there were at least six other versions recorded (these included Glenn Miller, Jimmy Dorsey and Louis Armstrong) before the best remembered 1950s rock n' roll version by Fats Domino.
It was an international hit in 1956 for Fats and has become a classic rock and roll standard. It reached No.2 for three weeks in the USA Billboard Top 40 charts, becoming his biggest pop hit, and it spent eight (non-consecutive) weeks at No.1 on the R&B Best Sellers chart. It also ranked at No.82 in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
This is a one-off single rhythm complete with intro's/endings/fills & variations written in the style of the song for newer Ketron instruments. (Please note this is not a song file - often referred to as a midi file - that refers to and plays only one song. Subject to the chords you play on your instrument this style can be used for many numbers of which Blueberry Hill is just one).
