Carillon News

Unfortunately due to Johns dad having been taken very seriously ill recently everything has been put on the back burner and we are running a bit behind here at Carillon. We are very pleased to report that following a major operation his prognosis has now improved a lot over the past few days and we are now in the process of trying to catch up a bit. We have released a new style today (When You're in Love with a Beautiful Woman) and Dave has made sure several are ready to go over the next days and weeks. There will be an email newsletter in the near future and we will be participating in the Middlewich FAB Festival next week.

If anyone is close enough to pay us a visit next weekend (15th & 16Th June). John and a number of musicians will be performing at our canalside venue. There are nearly 30 FREE venues that weekend and over 30,000 are likely to visit the town if the weather holds up. Toploader will feature as the local Councils mainline act on Friday night (we believe this is the only paid entry gig over the weekend). There is loads to do during the weekend and our coffee shop and music stage will be open from 10 am until about 5 pm each day.

Our whole event is dedicated to raising funds for charity and all proceeds will go to Winstons Wish (To help and support bereaved children and their families) and Middlewich Additional Needs Network (To help children, their families and carers in Cheshire). As we said it costs nothing to attend however we are always looking for good musicians  (call first if possible however it's OK to just turn up) and if you fancy dropping the odd pennies into our collection tins, all the better. Hope to see you there!

If you can't make the festival then John is at Nene Valley in concert on Monday Night (17th June). More details can be found on his personal website
